Will this cost me anything?
We are usually appointed by the business owners to assist them to firstly find a suitable buyer and then to assist in the process of finalizing the transaction. The seller appoints us as their agent and as such pays a fee for the service. It is usually a success fee ie payable only on settlement.
A buyer can also appoint us to find a business known as a buyer agency. This where the buyer is tapping into our expertise to secure a business at the best price and conditions. Over the years we have had a few of these to work on.
